I think there still needs to be a limit. Making it much higher would take certain limits out of the program. Rehd, I believe I've read that post at least three times before. Of course. If there's no limit, then it's not mario paint anymore. (See my earlier post) But If it would go up to AT LEAST High A Flat. That would've been a lifesaver for many compositions that I started and never finished.

I can think of three situations in my videos where I've had to be sneaky around notes that were out of the limited range. It's always fun to overcome those, too, so yeah...

You can overcome range problems with soundfont manipulation. I did in Going the Distance (unreleased) from Rocky Balboa so I could get a low A. I would like to see the low Bb and High C# glitch gone.

mmkay, I get the point.
But save warning would have been BRILLIANT. It would've made my Original Comp a lot better.

The limits are okay as they are, but the glitches need fixing.
...ALL THE GLITCHES, PLEASE.
And some other tools would be nice. Like a copy-paste abitity, note-moving tool, and the aforementioned save warning. And the annoying eraser noise HAS to go.
I'm not as concerned with new instruments, but they should fix the audibility issues with the 2.0 instruments, and fix the coins and boos.

I would sincerely object to the removal of certain glitches were this new version to come to light. I have found a use for the continuing C#/Bb which I would hate to see removed, because I find it very useful at times. I also have no problems with the coins and boos -- while more often than not it proves to be a problem, I see nothing wrong with them. They are fantastic instruments if you implement volume control while holding them out, and if you want to cut them off you can do it just as you would any instrument on C#/Bb.
That said, I would like to see some sort of save warning. And I do hate the eraser noise, too.
I really don't think there needs to be a V3. It's not necessary, we can work around what we have. That is the challenge of it all, and I don't want to see this go.

The only thing I would want is the ability to have BOTH Treble Cleft AND A BASS CLEFT! It's so annoying when I'm using the program, and not being able to write something because of that, I'll just give up.

EDIT: Nevertheless, you kind of have a point. I think MP has to be a bit more noob-friendly.

While I object to removal of the limitations (such as the addition of a bass clef, it's really unnecessary), I would like to see some new functions that would make it less frustrating. Of course, I mean things such as the save warning, copy-paste ability, or even the ability to add or remove a beat at a selected point in the song (I can't tell you how many times I had to go back in a dickspeed song after finding out that I missed a beat halfway through the song. That being said, a note-moving tool or the aforementioned copy-paste ability could serve the same purpose).
I also would like the V2.0 instruments to be given a volume boost. They sound far too soft compared to the original instruments. And, of course, fix the glitches like low Bb/ high C# and Coin/Boos, and, come to think about it, has that glitch with the boat on Ab been fixed yet? *checks* Nope. A rather minor bug, but nonetheless I'm surprised that it hasn't been brought up yet.
Oh, and eraser noise must die.

Yes, definitely copy-paste.
And a delete function with a warning (for both songs and arrangements). Yes, you can always go into prefs and delete failed compositions, but you have to delete in two different places.

I would like to be able to record it without opening up another program... or something like that.

You can do copy-paste and beat insertion if you manually edit the text files with a text editor like Notepad. Of course, it's not at all easy to use.
