RPG: Pokemon series Fighting: SSBB Racing: don't like any except the Mario Kart series Action/Adventure: I can't pick just one. I'll go with LoZ series and the original Sonic the Hedgehog series. FPS: Goldeneye 007 (N64) Puzzle/Strategy: not into those...

RPG: Secret of Mana Fighting: Super Smash Bros Series Racing: Project Gotham Racing IV Action/Adventure: Metroid Series (If I had to select one, MP) First Person Shooter: Perfect Dark 64. For its tech level: BEST... FPS... EVER. Puzzle: Portal (Nice choice, Milhouse) Strategy (should be own cat., kthx): Command and Conquer: Red Alert III (haven't played it, but I love RA2 and I own C&C 3. It's gotta be good.)

I think Megaman would be in Action/Adventure. Battle Network, though, would probably be RPG.

Strategy (should be own cat., kthx): Command and Conquer: Red Alert III (haven't played it, but I love RA2 and I own C&C 3. It's gotta be good.) WOW! You are in for a shocker. RPG: SMRPG Strategy: None FPS: Halo 2 EDIT: MGS series is not strategy, it's tactical action/adventure/shooter.

RPG: Pokemon (I don't have to choose a specific game from this series, do I? XD) Fighting: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Racing: Mario Kart DS Action/Adventure: LoZ Series (There are so many in this series too, so I can't really choose a specific game...) First Person Shooter: Goldeneye, '64 Puzzle: Tetris. Just Tetris. Y'know, the original. Strategy: May not be the best, but I just love the Advance Wars and Battalion Wars series.

RPG: SMRPG Strategy: MGS 4 FPS: Halo 2 Sorry to ruin your thing, but... MGS 4 ≠ Strategy Strategy is Command & Conquer, Age of Empires, Advance Wars, etc. MGS 4 is, if anything, an action/adventure. There should be another category, I think: 3rd person action/shooter. Gears of War, RE4 (one of my favs), MGS, etc.

Fine, but I would definitely consider MGS1 a strategy game.

Brawl Racing: Gran Turismo Action/Adventure: Sonic BA2, SMG First Person Shooter: Never play FPSs ... Third Person Shooter: Never play TPSs ... Puzzle: Tetris Attack Strategy: Pikmin 2 (well, RTS but still a strategy)

RPG: Mother 3 Fighting: Super Smash Bros. Melee (though I like Brawl a lot, I'm still a much better Melee fighter) Racing: Does Crazy Taxi count? No...? Okay then, Mario Kart DS Action/Adventure: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening -- it's the first one I ever played and my favorite (but I like all Zelda games) First Person Shooter: Goldeneye 007? That's the only one I've ever played Third Person Shooter: Never played any Puzzle: Wow, lots of good puzzle games. I'll say Pokemon Puzzle League for N64 Strategy: Unknown
EDIT: Pokemon is not strategy, it is RPG.

Tetris is NOT strategy; rather it is puzzle. Strategy is the commanding of units (military or otherwise) to achieve some goal. This includes military games like C&C, Supreme Commander, or Age of Empires; 'god games' like Black and White or the Tycoon series; and offbeat commander games like Pikmin.
As such, I have fixed your post, Winterbourne.

Reminds me of Christmas, 'cos that's when I got Pikmin 2.
