RPG: Lufia 2, Final Fantasy 4, Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger. No RPG's come anywhere NEAR close to these 4.
Fighting: Blinx 2 Multiplayer (until it gets repetitive)
Racing: uh... Crash Tag Team Racing? (never play these)
Action/Adventure: Legend of Zelda 1
First Person Shooter: Tremulous/Red Faction
Third Person Shooter: Lara Croft series
Puzzle: A random flash one (only console one I played blows)
Strategy: Pokemon Puzzle Challenge
Real Time Strategy: Starcraft (games like Age of Empires and Command and Conquer are RTS games, not just 'strategy')
Turn Based Strategy: Tales of Wesnoth (or w/e)
Freeware: La-Mulana

Third Person Shooter: Star Wars Battlefront 2 (well technically it could be either but he prefers it in the 3rd person)

Strategy: Roller Coaster Tycoon 2

why have the majority of you guys not played a *real* strategy game? i personally love the genre, and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is one of my favorite games. its songs are tough to make though.
