It says the fluidsynth library can not be found. Mac or Windows?

You're sure you downloaded the right file? If the AMS says it can't find the library, the library file is certainly missing. Did you unzip everything to the same location? Is the fluidsynth.dll there?

How many days do you think the next release will be Ford?

I don't want to make a prediction, but let's say, there surely will be a release this month.

Suggestions: -Map Mute to Alt -Add Sharp/Flat buttons -The way AMS misses notes at high tempos is inconsistant - when I play a song using dickspeed on AMS a few times, it will sound different each time due to different notes being missed -Make it open source please?

-Make it open source please? I thought about it. Problem is: a) I probably won't be able to submit it to SourceForge because of possible licensing problems concerning the "Mario" character - which is surely some kind of trademark of Nintendo. b) Hardly anyone has a REALbasic license - you won't be able to view, change or compile my code without one, so there is not much sense in releasing the source code. c) I don't want that someone takes the code and implements all kind of stuff to overcome the remaining limitations of the AMS (for example, MIDI importing). But my work on the AMS has spawned an open source project - I release the code I wrote for using the fluidsynth library in REALbasic on SourceForge: sourceforge.net/projects/rbfluidwrapper/

What new features do you plan or are having in the next release?

I will definitely add the possibility to map instrument samples from multiple soundfonts to the Mario Paint instruments (lets say you want the meow sound from the original SoundFont, but also the flute from MarioPaintReal). I also try to fix the timing issues in dickspeed songs. Then, there is the often requested song merging tool, which will allow joining different songs into one song (will also work as replacement for the arranger feature of MPC, however its intention is a little different). Another thing that needs to be done is the possibility of adding or removing chords / measures inside songs. Oh, and keyboard shortcuts have also been requested.
I don't know yet if the next release will have all those improvements or if I add them in two steps - some in the next release, some after it.

I'm also looking forward for the next release. I'm hoping it'll fix the dickspeed problem.

oh, reporting another bug;
sometimes various instruments in the soundfonts randomly get mixed up with each other. you'll want to make sure that doesn't happen, especially if you are making a select-instrument-from-soundfont tool.

This thread is out of date. We've moved onto 3.1. This bug might have been fixed in that. Please go into this thread and download the latest version and post any bugs that you find there. mariopaintcomposer.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ams&action=display&thread=1887
