Really weird. This is the entire reason I just made this account.
So, in the past I used to LOVE to play with Soundfonts. I definitely have had upwards of 10+ soundfonts work for me in the past.
I recently got in the mood to play with some MPC and tried downloading some new soundfonts.
Every consecutive one I have tried (tried about 15 now) seems to either be corrupted or I'm doing something wrong.
For some reason, either the notes are either completely silent, or 1-2 instruments work (but sound completely incorrect), whereas if I CAN get a soundfont to work, every instrument, when activated, never stops making its sound and the only way to stop it is to close the entire program out.
The original soundfont works fine. I deleted and re-added it just to see if I was doing something odd, but no. It's perfectly fine.
I followed all the steps in this thread mariopaintcomposer.proboards.com/thread/6922/use-different-soundfonts but I've still got strange issues.
Help? Please?
