I have recently seen Nintendo Caprisun's "Jepson Man" composition and it sounds amazing. Does anyone know what soundfont he used? I am also looking for a soundfont similar to the one used for Mario Kart DS. Can someone please provide a link?

I looked through a bunch of commonly used soundfonts and couldn't find the exact one that was used in that video @ _@ I thought it was either cat333's real or dessler4's real, but it turned out to be neither (I could have sworn that I've heard that soundfont before...). It might be a completely custom one. Your best bet would be to send the guy a message or something. Regarding the Mario Kart DS soundfont, I found a video which has a download to one, though it isn't MPC-compatible. It does, however, have a wide variety of different instruments that could possibly be assigned and fit to become compatible with enough work. Unfortunately, there are more instruments than there are spots to fill so only a fraction of the instruments would be in an MPC-compatible version of the soundfont. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jM55WnTTSw

Here's the link to "Jepson Man" (so that others don't have to look for it): I could also swear that I've heard most of these instruments before, but I couldn't identify the soundfont. I tried adolfobaez's Electronica, balloon303's Hard rock v.1.2 and II and SatoshiLyish's Plus v1.14. If you want, you can have a look at this list of soundfonts that cynagen put together and try to identify the soundfont yourself. By doing so, you may also find a soundfont whose instruments are similar to those of Mario Kart DS.
