So when I got on my inbox on Youtube, I found a message on there. At first, I figured it was another stupid scam on "getting subscribers" and all that crap, but then I realized it was some guy named Robby Mulvany. He said there was a "sequel" to Mario Paint Composer called Music Music Nation. Just to check and see if its some kind of prank, did anyone else get this message in their inbox or somewhere else???
EDIT: I got on this guy's channel and looked at his video on the program. Looks fancy, and I'm sure people will get a lot of stuff done..... but one, it's too complicated, and two, I would rather stick with Mario Paint Composer. I am just hooked to the original music program and not some super complex sequel

Downside to Music music nation... to download it you have to pay for it. You can use it from the website however, I'm about to personally check it out myself.

It looks like this guy is asking you to install too much stuff...
Not a bad program, but I hope to make something nice as well. Also if you want to download it, you can probably figure out a way to get it off of the website, since you're already basically downloading it by going to the page.
Seems like Arcade County Composer from the screenshots and the video to me.
Time to keep working on Super Mario Paint.
Edit: "Right now, as of this video, there is only a PC version"
I'm doing Super Mario Paint in Java so it'll inherently run on both PC and Mac from the get-go!

The only things that are really installing are Adobe Shockwave and a decent amount of cookies. Right at this moment, while it does seems pretty handy just to be able to play it online and have a community type of environment around it, there's so much about Mario Paint that is generally better. Atm, the only keyboard functions that help are the Ctrl and Shift for note altering. Left/Right doesn't do anything. Another thing that would be helpful that he doesn't have is click-dragging. If you need a held note you literally have to click each part. To alter the volume you have to click and click and click until you *think* it's right. When in MPC I can just count how many notches it changes by...
Seemingly, the only thing this really has atm would be the awesome selection of high quality instruments.

Not to mention that it relies on your browser cookies. I delete them all the time when I do a disc cleanup and defragment on my computer, so that basically won't work for me unless I get the download. But I'm still sticking with MPC no matter what ^_^
