Hi, you probably shouldn't quote something old on this thread.

The program should (hopefully!) be in a better state than that now.

Try making a song (file only) with at least 75 notes per 8 measures, and at least 16 measures long, and without dickspeed. Use the arrow keys to scroll. Is it crashing? Here is a screenshot of a file that made my program crash while scrolling. oi60.tinypic.com/1128uw0.jpg

mariofrommelee Double click "SMPv0.951.jar" If you don't have Java, it might be difficult to open Super Mario Paint; download it if you don't.

That would be a good feature to include on a later date, after the main functionality is done.

the arranger cuts some parts when playing a lot of files in sequence. Will we get a more stable version soon?

That, I've seen in operations and debugging. Currently I'm getting completely screwed by life and time, I don't know how long it will be until I'm not...

I'm having trouble opening the program. I'm not very experienced with this kind of stuff. I would very much appreciate it if somebody could explain how to open SMP and what the necessities are for opening it. I've seen many fixes compared with MPCv2.0 and would love to start composing on this better program. Thanks in advance.

What are you trying to open? Have you installed Java? Either the .bat file or the .jar file are the ones that you can likely use to open it.

The latest versions (from v0.921) all work on mac, if you have Java 8 or later.

I think I fixed the last major bug prior to v1.0.0 just now. I'll keep everyone updated about this; maybe a release will be happening soon!!
