Seeing the 'Active Users In The Past 24 Hours' section at the bottom of the page steadily decreasing from a few lines of names to just a handful is saddening...
So, as it seems a reasonable possibility, before this place totally grinds to a halt I'd like to make a quick thanks to everyone who has made this place a good, informative, fun forum to be part of. Long posts evaluating the forum's ups and downs in its history have been done many times before, so I won't start up that again, but it's been good being part of the forum for the last few years and getting to know its members, thanks everyone!

It has been a bit depressingly quiet here. Now if only we had more motivation to actually do stuff to make this place at least seem more alive than the baby blue and magenta shell of its former glory that it has become...
One thing for sure, I'm not ever going to jump ship, even if it does sink into the negative tempo trench of death.
*pulls out some instrument and starts playing*
(Though I guess this is a useless act if I'm going to wind up not doing anything worthwhile.)

God this is so depressing, I just found this place relatively recently and it has to be dying now? Well, if we get some more new users like you posting regularly we could keep this place going! It's not inconceivable, it's just that the flow of new users recently has been very small and more and more old users have left or been posting much less regularly. If you know other people interested in MPC who aren't here, invite them to join! |
