Hmm...that's kind of a easy one, because I can only truly remember playing a few games from before my 10th birthday, and the earliest is Super Mario World! That game was and still is awesome. I spent hours playing the SNES at my aunt's house, but I didn't complete it until the GBA version, which was the first copy I owned. The first system I owned was the Nintendo 64 on Christmas 2000, along with Super Mario 64 and Pokémon Stadium. The first handheld game was Super Mario Advance (three guesses for what system that's on ). Oddly, I didn't get a handheld Pokémon game until 2002 (Silver version). And that was only a couple months before I got Red and Sapphire. Now, it feels like I've played games all my life, even though I've only owned them for half as long. First game was Ms. Pac-Man for the Atari 2600, that was back in 1987, most of y'all haven't been born yet, HAH! ;D I'm glad you didn't say Pac-Man for the 2600. As an owner of that game, I can certainly say that it is an utter pile of garbage.

My first game was Super Mario Bros. 3. I apparently first played it when I was two, and it is still my favorite game in the Mario series to this day!

I can't pinpoint my exact first game. XD I know it had to be on the Atari, because my parents had one before anything else. For namesake, I'm going to say Lock and Chase, because that's the only game my parents ever refer back to.
As for the first game I actually remember playing, it would probably be some Madden game for SNES. I think it was Madden 96, but I'm not sure.

The first game I ever played was either Pac-Man or Spider Man for Atari 2600. I was 2 years old at the time.
The first games I ever owned were Super Mario Bros 3 and Kirby's Adventure. I got them both at the same time the Christmas after I turned 4.

I'm pretty sure I was born into Super Mario 3 on NES. With an older brother, he always had a good stash that I used. I honestly can not remember the first one I played or saw. Mario 3 was my favorite, however. So I'll call that my first.

Now I remember. It was Trog, a pacman clone where you were a dinosaur eating cavemen on the NES.

"maybe mario 64... no I've played by cousin's super gameboy snes thing when i was really young, so it was probably donkey kong country then they gave me their n64 and so the first game I owned was mario 64 and banjo kazooie and games like that or I might have just gotten my gba then, no that was later jeez I cant think"
I'm pretty sure it was one of these: Donkey kong country Mario 64 Goldeneye (007 for my first game ever? XD) Pokemon Red Pokemon yellow or BANJO KAZOOIE!!!!

When I posted that, I remembered a game with cubes on the Atari that I played before anything else. I didn't post it because I didn't know what it was called. I have pinpointed the name of that now. It's called Q*Bert.

But I think the first game I actually owned and played was Banjo Kazooie when I was 5. Never could get past Treasure Cove though. Ah Banjo Kazooie, one of my favorite games of all time. In Treasure Cove, I remember avoiding nipper (the original giant enemy crab) and freaking out whenever snacker appeared. "GET OUT OF THE WATER, BANJO!!!!!!!!"
