So, i have been working on a soundfont for some time. It is made to be able to compose songs like lazerdance does from the spacesynth genre:
I also made an OC with it so you can see it in action before you download the soundfont (which is also entered in MPCOC contest round 18):

It took me a while to get the sfx but i have the main instruments done and here is the list (updated):
Mario - some kind of nylon guitar (main)
Mushroom - Drum set 1
Yoshi - Bell (echo)
Star - Bell (main)
Flower - Brass thing (main)
Gameboy - some kind of nylon guitar (echo)
Dog - Some sort of sinthy voice
Cat - Flute (echo)
Pig - Koto instrument (echo)
Swan - Brass thing (echo)
Face - Square wave
Plane - Koto instrument (main)
Boat - Drum set 2
Car - Flute (main)
Heart - Bass (main)
Piranha - Bass (echo)
Coin - Some sort of sinthy voice (echo)
Shy Guy - Brassy Synthstrings
Boo - square wave (echo)
