I love my computer to death, but that doesn't mean I have a single clue what I'm doing! I am running on Vista, PC if that's important at all.
Anyway, before I ask for any help let me tell you what I -tried- to do:
First, I downloaded Mario Pain composer. Then I downloaded Winzip. I then attempted to download Hard Rock2 (Soundfont) with Winzip. I placed it inside the soundfont folder.
I then ran Cats MPC tool and selected Hardrock, then ran MPC.
No Sound : /. It works fine with just the original...but I can't get it to run with a different soundfont.
Tried searching through the forums for others asking the same kind of question but haven't found anyone having the same problem as me. Any advice?

I've never used cat's MPC tool before. When you download Mario Paint Composer, the application is in a folder titled "Mario Paint Composer PC" along with subfolders Prefs and Xtras as well as a file "soundset3.sf2" If you want to switch to the Hard Rock soundset, you must first rename the original soundset something else, then rename Hard Rock "soundset3." The program will automatically use whatever soundset is titled "soundset3" and is in that spot in the main folder. You can store other soundsets in the main folder for convenience; it will only use "soundset3." Does that help?
