Well i was kinda thinkin about doin an OC... there've been soooo many people doin em, and a great number of them sound amazing. i'm not sure where to start, but i could throw down some notes to see if that leads somewhere... so my question is this:
anyone got any good tips on how to make an OC? and more importantly, how to make it awesome?

A: Awesome melody.
B: Great harmony.
C: Minor section in a major song to build tension, or major chord in a minor song to resolve it.
D: Can't go wrong with dickspeed.
E: Sometimes you just need a soundfont.
F: Sometimes you don't.
G: DO NOT be repetitive, that gets boring so fast.

Have a music on your mind.
Throw it on MPC.
Done.

One simple thing I hate in OCs. DON'T USE THE SAME 4 CHORDS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. That's all I care about. After that, go wild.
