Okay, I'm new here and to MPC, but I need help using Mario Paint Real Soundfont. Can someone give me step-by-step instructions? I keep getting error messages and other bad signs. -_- I have to do a project on the West Indies for school, and I have to compose calypso (steel drum) music... Help would be appreciated. A lot... Like 25% of my final grade... -_-

Exactly what kind of error message are you getting?
In order to use other soundfont, you must first change the name of the original soundfont file (soundset3.sf2) to something else (i.e. "sounset3original.sf2") and then change the name of the Real Soundonft to "soundset3.sf2".
I don't think there's anything else you could be doing wrong.

I used to be able to use MPC, now I can't. Something about "MacroMedia". I figured out the soundfont part, but I decompress the file and get MacroMedia as the company of MPC... Then it won't run saying something about an .ini file...

The only error I know of that could cause that is when the directory of MPC has too many characters (something like more than 128). If you move MPC to, say, the root of your user folder or just anywhere not far inside various folders then that might fix your problem.
