Anyone play this game before? It's one of the few RPG's that I know of that require THINKING (WHOA THAT'S UNHEARD OF) and PUZZLE SOLVING (WTFH4X#U5hil3l6) and has UNIQUENESS (WUT#*@()*%@(^1) all in the same game.
For those who have played it (or are interested to see what the game is like), I'm doing a challenge for the game. I'm going to play it without buying any magic spells and without ever going into the ancient cave.
What this means is that the only spells that will be used the entire game are those that characters begin with when they join the party (causes one character to be almost worthless *coughcough*), and there will be no ancient cave trips to get overpowered armor and weapons to counter the lack of magic.
The only equipment will be those that I find or buy throughout my quest. There will be only 1 way (that I know of) to get an overpowered weapon/armor, and I doubt I'll go for it.
If you're interested in the challenge or think you might be interested in the game,

Beating Gades in the first battle? I played this game a lot of times, but I never had the patience to do that.
Anyway, this will be very hard to do, but I think it's possible. Did you ever try beating the game in low level? (that is to say, only beat the battles that are necessary, as few random encounters as possible) This would be quite the opposite of what you want to do, because you need all the powerful stuff to beat the game with low levels.

I actually DID go for the Gades Blade, and I think I'm only ever going to use it once (which is already recorded). I did that battle in the lowest (or second-lowest) possible level, and the rest is pretty much explained in the video description. I've been pretty occupied lately, and I might get a new video out today or tomorrow at the latest.

I found myself spending literally hours in the Cave. No, really, maybe 20 hours total.
Great fun... >_>

Part 11 is now uploaded and the last two parts will likely be uploaded tomorrow. The conclusion on how I epic fail but still somehow win will be known once they are up.
If you have requests for me (challenges or Let's Plays), don't hesitate to make them known.
