Options, options!

how do most of you guys go about choosing songs? do you just pick one and stick with it, or do you just do multiple ones at a time?

I'm beginning to notice that my process for doing a song is listening to it and thinking "hey that might be fun" but then i just go onto another one, and that's why i have a lot of unfinished stuff... how many of you start multiple songs at a time and just finish ones you like working on most?

i bring it up cuz i'm torn between 2 songs to spend a lot of my time on next... i will either do Rattle Battle, or Mining Melancholy both from DKC2. both seem fun to do, but i feel i should devote most of my time on just one... i have a good start on rattle battle, but i feel a little stuck after the intro hehe.

I currently have something on the order of 15 projects right now. Don't do it. Nothing gets done.

I think most people on here start multiple projects at a time and end up with less than what they started, but I personally try to stick with one Project at a time. If I end up with multiple projects, its usually due to me getting bored with another and putting it off. Right now I have 2 unfinished projects, and 3 in the works, lol.

I just look for a song that

A: Has not been successfully done
B: Is a song that I REALLY want to be MPC'd
D: Is a song that I like
Q: Can follow the alphabet correctly.

I've made about 60 mpcs, and I probably have 2 or 3 times that amount in unfinished ones. Somehow, I feel having a lot of unfinished songs is natural, but I'm not sure. You'll know which song is right because you'll finish it.

i always pick a song at random. And i finished about 10% of every song i started.

I have lots and lots and lots of unfinished songs, but this is how I pick them:
1. Has not been done on MPC / song that I can do better on
2. Song that I like
3. Anything's possible.

My MPC folder has sooo many files...

By start, I mean I focus on it long enough to get about 20 seconds into the song
