So yeah, for the new year my AMS decided to fuck with me and now everything's a higher pitch. I don't think I've touched any settings, and the soundfont's still original.
For comparison's sake:

Bump because this is pissing me off
Is there some setting I'm completely missing? Is there a Mac program that could somehow alter the pitches of one single program on a computer?

Maybe the Mac version is a pitch higher (?) Unless you had always been using the Mac version...

Nah, I've always used Mac AMS. This literally happened right after midnight on New Year's.

Does the problem still occur if you re-download it or anything? Did you check the soundfont in Viena to see if the sounds were edited somehow? Have the .ams files (I think those are the song files for AMS...) been edited?
I'm trying to find out what's directly causing the problem since it seems a number of things could've happened...

Yeah, re-downloading hasn't solved anything. I don't have Viena, so I don't think I edited the soundfonts intentionally. I'm pretty sure it's not the actual files, but the program itself. When I open up a new song, the problem's there. Personally, I think this is the baby Jesus telling me to use Finale, which I got for Christmas.

Seriously though, I wish I had a mac so I could try this out for myself...

Do you happen to have some type of karaoke feature in your audio settings?
If not, I'm stumped. Sucks to be you. :c

I just checked, and the middle A in my AMS is the same as a Bb in a normal AMS if that helps at all. If I really wanted to, I could still compose in AMS, but this is far too much of a hassle. I'm thinking there HAS to be some hidden feature that changes the key of AMS, because this is just too weird to just randomly happen. If I can't fix this problem, this might be my official resignation of Mario Paint.
