So yeah, I'm just about to get started on the overworld theme for Golden Sun. I was just wondering what the minimum tempo one would use for 16th notes. Because after looking at the sheet music for multiple instruments, I've noticed that in order to get the melody to sound right I'll need the 16th notes to be somewhat prominent. So, what is generally the minimum tempo one would use for 16th notes?

You take the original tempo of the song and then multiply it by four. So if the tempo was 125 you multiply it by 4 and get 500. Now in MPC, every space is a 16th note and every numbered bar line is a quarter note
