It seems my computer is quite popular among those viruses that imitate security software, so I decided to post a list of sites you should be careful of if you have an insufficient anti-virus software program.
I Can Haz Cheezburger & its sister sites 4chan 7chan Deviant Art The Spriter's Resource (Every once and awhile, it will try to activate Java so it can install a Trojan) New Grounds Mega Upload (or a similar storage site) And any site that has a bit-torrent peer-to-peer download
If you have a browser with a strong ad-block plug-in, then these sites will probably be of no threat to the rest of you. I only put these up as warnings as I have gotten viruses from each of them. Be careful, and don't make the same mistakes as me.

Never got a virus from any of those sites. Unless you downloaded something silly you.

Never got a virus from any of those sites. Unless you downloaded something silly you. I don't download anything from those sites, it's the ads that do it. They only need to show up on screen, and then they wreak havoc on my system. ...what? I couldn't hear you. My Mac is too secure. There is a reason I put a question mark in the name of this thread. If you have a computer that has something that makes it more secure, then this won't be of an issue to you you. I mearly put this up for those that can't afford a good anti-virus program or a mac. Macs are expensive ya know, not everyone can afford them. I'm also thinking I should finally switch to Firefox. Will that help?

I'm also thinking I should finally switch to Firefox. Will that help? No man, don't even think about switching. IE is the safest browser out of all of them. Heck, IE is the only one that see commercials for on the TV.

FireFox ftw. I have IE and FireFox. Internet explorer is TOO secure. It stops me uploading videos to YouTube, because apparently the site is about to hack into me.
