My whole computer is dying

I should really stop using XP because it seems like the older a computer OS is, the more problems it gets. X|

SO many things are going wrong with this thing

0. I think the first sign of the computer's problems was a few days ago I got a random BSoD out of nowhere

1. Any random website will cause random popups to appear. Adblock is working fine, and the popups aren't coming from the websites, I can tell you that. I'm sure it's some crappy adware virus I can't get rid of without serious expensive virus protection, because I've scanned my computer NUMEROUS times with 2 different malware scanners. >

2. I'm getting those stupid antivirus things repeatedly (Youne knows what I'm talking about), most likely from the popups

3. A few programs won't work (MPC being one of them )

4. LOOK AT THIS CRAP


(Don't ask what some of these icons are; I'm getting my own computer soon)

I MEAN WHAT
It keeps randomly switching half-to-the-classic-view and back. I mean, really, what? If I try to go to the display properties, it only SOMETIMES has the XP ones on there when it feels like it, usually after I restart the computer a couple times.

5. Oh, and SOUND.
Audio has been a continual problem since I started getting these

Everything says "This device is working properly" even though THEY SURE AREN'T
Occasionally, if I restart the computer the sound will come back just fine, but that only happens when it feels like realizing there are audio drivers DX

There are probably a few more minor problems I left out, but really... how could this computer be in such horrible condition? I'm not downloading (too much) illegal stuff...
I'm sure nobody can help with anything at the moment, but I thought I'd put it out there just because. I'm taking the big electronic piece of crap to the local guy who built it to see what he can do.


PS: Please don't tell me "get Windows 7" because... well... just don't

If you could, take a screenshot of those "antivirus" things and the popups. It probably is one of those fake and gay advirus thing which is always pestering you to pay for 'full' protection but in reality it's just a scam. Googleing the name will lead you to a site with instructions to remove it manually (I've had to do this 3 times, it always works if you know what you're doing.)

I've gotten Antivirus Live, Antivirus Soft, and Antivirus 7, and I've gotten rid of them AT LEAST 7 times so I definitely know how to get rid of them

Anyways, I took it to the local guy and we got rid of the viruses but he said the viruses have affected the OS itself, so they're gonna take all the files and programs off, wipe/format/something the whole thing, then put the files back. (At least that's what I got out of it)
For now, I have 3 laptops, 2 that work. (You can't use anything on the third one for a few minutes without freezing, glitches, BSoD, or all of the above)
