This started happening recently, maybe for about 2 weeks now.
So whenever I go to a site that uses the Adobe Flash Player in Firefox, I get a weird debug dialogue box that I don't understand. Take, for example, this picture of what pops up when I try to play Farkle on Facebook (Yes I play Farkle. Don't be hatin', it's better than Farmville):
If I click Continue, I usually encounter a chain of similar windows with different debug text in each one, and after I reach the end of the chain, the Flash item doesn't work. If I click Dismiss All, I skip the chain, but the Flash item still doesn't work. If I leave the dialogue box open long enough, maybe around 10 seconds, I get the following screen, followed by the inevitable crash of Firefox.
Also, on some other sites, I get the following message, this one from UpNextInSports.com:
About 50% of the time, Firefox crashes as soon as I get this message. If Firefox manages to survive, if I press Cancel, the dialogue box usually disappears. If I hit OK, no matter what option the radio button is on, the dialogue box disappears and then reappears. If, on the new dialogue box, I press Cancel, I get the following error message:
And before you say anything about downloading the most recent plugin, let me assure you the I have the most recent version as I just downloaded it as soon as the errors began, obviously to no avail. Also, Internet Explorer uses the exact same plugin, and it works absolutely perfectly (well, at perfect as IE can be). About a week into the errors, I even copied and pasted the plugins from the IE folder into the Firefox folder, but obviously it didn't work.
So yeah, I hope that's enough detail for you. I just want to know if anyone else is having this problem and if anyone else has figured out how to fix it. I can't find any help on the Adobe website, and until it's fixed I'm being forced to use Internet Explorer WHICH IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!
