If you haven't seen it, or don't know about it, it's like a more 'mature' version of Mario Kart. More realistic race tracks, and cars but with powerups and items like Mario kart.
Even the ad takes a shot at Mario Kart, or any sort of racing game like it.
What are your guys's opinions on it? Like, is it better than Mario Kart, and etc.?
For me, I might consider getting this game for the PS3 since it looks entertaining, but no way will it ever replace the fun and memories I've had with Mario Kart (All of them).

I picked up Cutie Kart on a discount rack. It's pretty good, actually.

A lot of new racing games seem to have vehicular combat nowadays, even the more mature ones (Jak X, Auto Assault, Burnout, Death Rally, etc). However that isn't necessarily a bad thing. To me, if it has anything that detaches it from the real world (e.g. Power-ups, art style, time period, setting, etc.), then it has all the more reason to be enjoyed as a game instead of a simulation or the lesser known simulacrum.
I think you should give it more thought though. If you aren't into mature racing games with a sci-fi like setting, then I'd suggest that you not get it.
