Simply post your top 10 favorite games. You can list the console and give a brief description if you want. In no particular order... DS- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials & Tribulations ^Bet you didn't see this one coming. I love the characters, the story, the replay value... awesome game all around. I won't list any other Ace Attorney games on this list to keep from being redundant. DS- The World Ends With You ^I love the atmosphere and replay value of this game. Mastering all the pins I have yet to do, but I've gotten all the secret reports. GC- Paper Mario: TTYD ^This game is so much fun! The 3rd and 6th chapters are some of the best moments in gaming history. DS- Pokemon Pearl ^Ah, good ol' Pokemon. It just keeps getting better and better with each generation! SNES- Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest ^A fun, difficult platformer with beautiful graphics that stand the test of time. It has a great soundtrack, too. Wii- Guitar Hero 3 ^I'm not big into "real" music, but Harmonix made an excellent rhythm game with their plastic guitar concept. Activision is spreading it thin, but GH3 was fun and challenging. Not that I'm very good at it... >_> Wii- Super Smash Bros. Brawl ^Need I say more? Ridiculously fun with friends. GBA- Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga ^The first game I received by mail. When it finally arrived (late!), I broke my finger at school just before getting to play it. N64- Super Mario 64 ^Maybe it's nostalgia talking, but I prefer this game over Galaxy. (Galaxy is good, too!) I love exploring Princess Peach's castle. The DS port was great, too. Honorable mentions: Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, Animal Crossing Wild World, Okami, Advance Wars: Dual Strike, Paper Mario

Hmm.. it depends. Some games are amazing with more people (I love doing Halo LAN's)
but if it's on single player only I go with
10. The Sly Cooper Games (Ps2) I was like 8 or 9 when the first one came out, and the idea of going around stealing and stuff is really fun to play with.
9. Assassin's Creed (360)
Yes I know it's pretty repetitive. Yes I know it's chronologically inaccurate. But the concept of this game is why I love it, and it's a good Gamerscore Upper. Lol. I found myself playing for hours trying to find those darn flags.
8. Donkey Kong 64 (N64)
A childhood staple. Rare is my favorite game developer.
7. Super Smash Bros (any)
only good with multiplayer in my opinion. But it entertains and delivers. ESPECIALLY BRAWL.
6. Super Mario 64. (N64)
I love this game. Everything about it. And i didn't actually beat it 100% until I was like 13. Lol
5. Pokemon G/S/C (GameBoy)
I was enthralled when I received Gold for Christmas. I wish the newer games did what these did, and overlap two lands. It gave so much playability, and it actually took time to beat.
4. The Red Faction Series (pS2, Gamecube)
Amazing game. Replaying for multiple endings, complete Geo-Mod environment..I can't wait for Guerilla.
3. Banjo Tooie (N64)
This game is AMAZING, especially when it comes down to the fact that it packed all of that onto the N64. The expansive worlds, engaging storyline (Poor Bottles and Jingaling!), the MUSIC OF COURSE!, and everything else, this game holds a special place in my heart. Lol.
2. Gears of War (360)
First game I got when I got my 360. This game is gorgeous, with extra emphasis on gore. They could have dug a little deeper into the storyline, but that's what November 7 of this year is for. This is one of the only games I bothered to get good enough at to beat it on Insane. If you don't have this, you should.
1. BANJO KAZOOIE (N64)
This game is the most amazing game EVAR! IT is full of so much win. It had enormous replayability (for me at least) and getting each jiggy is so much fun. The most important part *ahem* is definitely the music. Grant Kirkhope is a composer's composer. This will forever be my number one favorite game, and screw what everyone thinks, I look forward to the third one. I'll be first in line.
(Sorry if it's a bit long, they needed explaining.)

1. Chrono Trigger (SNES) I love the story, the battle system, the characters, the music...
2. The Secret of Monkey Island (Scumm / DOS) "Look behind you, a three-headed monkey!" This game made me laugh much more often than any other game. Too bad the point-and-click-adventures died out almost entirely.
3. Ocarina of Time (N64) The storytelling here is a bit childish in my opinion... but the story is great, the dungeons are tricky and there are a lot of them, the overworld is not too big and not too small, it has some nice side-quests. All in all, a great game.
4. Oxyd (DOS / MacOS) Most of you folks probably don't know this one. It was a great puzzle / skill game on DOS computers an later on my father's Mac. Every level had an own idea, an own concept and you had to think and try out new things to master it. And it had 100 levels! There is an open source adaption of it, it's called Enigma and is also very fun. You even can design own levels, if you have some skills in xml and script programming.
5. Advance Wars (GBA) Simple, but very clever round based strategy game. This was actually the reason i bought my GameBoy Advance. I spend hours and hours playing with my friends on self-designed maps. The story is not really good, and the storytelling is kind of childish, but who cares?
6. Lufia (SNES) The first Lufia game had quite simple graphics, but it was the first of those old RPGs I played (I had never a SNES and didn't play SNES games until I installed the ZSNES emulator on my PC). The second game of the series had a better, but somehow more comic-like graphic. It also had nice puzzle games in the dungeons. The story of the first game was better because if you played Lufia 1, you are doomed to know the ending of Lufia 2 already... They're both great games anyway.
7. Trackmania Nations Forever (Windows) The only racing game I really like. It's free, it has a great online mode, and it has a very easy but powerful track editor. One of my favorite games at LAN parties.
8. Worms (DOS / Windows) I include all of the 2D Worms games here. The first game was great - One of the greatest multiplayer games on a single PC ever. The second game was also great - I don't like the comic style much, but the gameplay is still fantastic, and all those strange weapons... The third game rounded the game concept up by adding nice looking menus and some nice weaponry along with better single player missions. The forth game introduced multiplayer missions and the mission editor (as you can see, I like games with editors. I love doing weird levels / missions and playing them). Then the 3D games came and destroyed the series. What a pity.
9. Commander Keen (DOS) I hardly play this one any more, but I have fond memories of it. It was a side-scrolling jump-and-run series for DOS, and it was quite hard to beat. The game was revolutionary at that time for its smooth side scrolling, and the later games are a real challenge at hard mode.
10. Discworld (DOS) Another point-and-click adventure game. It was even harder to beat than the Monkey Island games, because you had to do such weird stuff here. Based on Terry Pratchetts Discworld novels, this game offeres a great setting, a nice story split in 4 parts, and lots of weird characters to communicate with. Saving the world has never been funnier.

10. Starcraft: Brood War (PC, Blizzard) Without a doubt the greatest RTS game ever created. Can't wait for SC2. Honorable mention to WC3:FT, just because of DotA.
09. Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time (N64, Nintendo) The first 3D installment in the Zelda franchise, and one of the best.
08. Super Mario World (SNES, Nintendo) Mario platforming doesn't get better than this, folks.
07. Mega Man 2, 3, or 9 (NES/Wii, Capcom/Nintendo) Great, difficult platformers with excellent soundtracks.
06. Mega Man X (SNES, Capcom/Nintendo) I sware I used to play this game EVERY DAY... best of the X series, no questions asked.
05. Super Smash Bros. Meele (GC, HAL/Nintendo) I think you all know why this game is so good...
04. Team Fortress 2 (Valve, PC) Most addictive FPS EVER. It really never gets old - when you're tired of playing one class, there are 8 more waiting.
03. Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past (SNES, Nintendo) *Hums Dark World theme song*
02. Legend of Zelda - Majora's Mask (N64, Nintendo) Deep storyline, great music, fairly difficult game. IMO the best of the franchise.
01. Banjo Kazooie (N64, RARE/Nintendo) Greatest platformer in existance. Superb gameplay, soundtrack, comic relief and much more = this game.

In no particular order, and with franchises combined: - Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2 - Halo Series - Command and Conquer Franchise - Gears of War - Chrono Trigger (but not Chrono Cross) - Perfect Dark 64 (definitely not PDZ) - Secret of Mana (in a rated list, this is probably #1 or 2) - Saint's Row (Actually like it better than GTA 1-3, and I haven't played nor do I want to play 4) - Super Smash Bros Series (still need a Wii to play Brawl... and my friend doesn't have it ) - Super Mario RPG (why do we like such a basic and small [only 6 characters!] RPG? Seriously, I wanna know...) Honorable mentions include - LoZ series (Twilight Princess on top) - Both B&K games for the N64 - The Pokemon series - Starcraft - Diablo - especially 2. Diablo 2 pwns the shiznit out of WoW. - Mega Man games (X preferred; MM7, the Battle Network series, and the one on PSX and N64 [Adventure?] didn't happen) Many, many others I don't have time to mention.

I don't have a particular order. They're all awesome. - LOZ: The Minish Cap - LOZ: Majora's Mask - LOZ: Ocarina of Time - LOZ: The Wind Waker - SimCity (SNES version. You simply cannot match the utter awesomeness of good ol' Doctor Wright and the stunning music and gameplay. - LOZ (Original. Simply staggering in integrity.) - Battalion Wars (What's wrong with that? XD) - Super Smash Bros. series. - LOZ: Orcales of Seasons and Ages (Subrosia: duuuun, dun dun duuuuun, dun dun dun. Beeep. Beep beep beep!) - Halo (Shhhhhhhhhh! A lot of my mates play it too. I only play it 'cos just a handful of my many friends own and frequently use a Nintendo console.)
Argh, damn, is that ten? I was just getting started... I've recently played a hell of a lot of Space Invaders, PacMan and Tetris because, needless to say, they are awesome. Oh, shoot, I forgot the Mario series! Dun dun dun... Argh, just choosing ten is difficult. Being an avid Zelda fan, I just reel off all my favourite Zeldas first... :/

10 - Xbox - JSRF (comes with the console. Not a bad game. Certainly unique.) 9 - Xbox - Star Wars: KotOR 2 (vast improvement over the lacking KotOR 1 imo) 8 - PC - Tremulous (the best freeware first person shooter, if not the best freeware game) 7 - PC - Diablo (You can't call yourself a gamer if you've never played this before) 6 - Xbox - Sudeki (it's an interesting. Very bloody, very flexible leveling up system, story is lacking) 5 - SNES - Final Fantasy 4 (solid RPG) 4 - SNES - Final Fantasy 6 (by FAR the best final fantasy game) 3 - PS2 - Grandia 2 (grandia 1 gets a 4/10, overrated piece of ass) 2 - Xbox - Star Wars: Republic Commando (NO OTHER GAME can call itself anywhere near this game as a squad-based game. NONE.) 1 - PC - Starcraft: Brood War (This game's brilliance is only matched by the 2-3 following it. NO rts can call itself better than this masterpiece)
Worst game list
10 - Xbox - Star Wars: KotOR (WHY does everyone like this game? Your maximum level is TWENTY, half of which is gained on the FIRST FREAKING WORLD. That should be enough to put doubt in my head, but it also has a big problem with not making any sense. You run around the galaxy trying to find... give it 3 seconds... that's right... MAPS. MAPS. ...MAPS. MAPS? It worked in Journeyman 3, as in it fit perfectly with the story, but it doesn't seem right here.) 9 - Xbox - Mojo! (this is a puzzle game. This puzzle game has managed to take a great physics system and turn it into a learning curve that looks like Mount Everest, not to mention the insane saving system (IIRC), of which you can only do outside of worlds, each having 10+ levels. Good luck.) 8 - Mario Party (any) (WOO- pass.) 7 - SNES - Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest (Play this for 5 minutes and say it's final fantasy while keeping a straight face.) 6 - NES - Super Mario 2 (1: It doesn't fit. 2: The reviews make no sense to me. 3: This should not be mario. 4: The graphics make me cry. 5: The gameplay isn't much better) 5 - NES - Destiny of an Emperor (I thought it was a blast when I was 6-7. Now I wonder how I even got to the halfway point without falling asleep every 5 minutes) 4 - Xbox - Blinx 2 (The sequel to a crappy game about cats and pigs creates the exact same problem. Instead of it being too hard, it's too easy. Sad, because it would've been MUCH, MUCH better if the difficulty was increased. Everything else is really good, mainly the graphics.) 3 - Xbox - Crash Nitro Kart (Not only does this game have a knack in forcing you to use every shortcut in the boss battles, but the different modes make me want to rip my hair out) 2 - Xbox - Crash Tag Team Racing (IOTHWETLWEHLTHLGLSDJKLSDJKLGGJKLGKJEWIOTIU Is it meant for 4 year olds? No one above 10 is going to play this.) #1
Wait for it
Wait a little more
Come on, don't be rushing it
Ok, fine
1 - Xbox - Blinx 1 (Play this game. I dare you. World 1 is your typical tutorial world. There's 2 levels, then a shop where you can buy new sweepers, upgrades, heart containers, whatever. World 2 is a city landscape, the levels aren't that hard, but it has you think a bit more. World 3... WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED. The difficulty went from world 1-3 [easy-easy-mid/hard]. It took me three weeks to get past the second level of that world. There are points that you can't pass unless you do something PERFECTLY. I only got to world 4-2, after being stuck on 4-1 for about... idk... 7 months? The reason it's so difficult is that you die IN ONE HIT. This is offset by rewinding back in time a few seconds, but the problem with THAT is you will usually die the same way... AGAIN. Talk about piss annoying.
The way to get your time controls suck too. You have 4 bubbles, right? Every enemy drops one time control thing. You pick them up, and depending on the 4 you got, you get a time control. Here's the problem. You have a 10 minute time limit every level. In the first 2 worlds, you can beat the level within 3-4 or so minutes each, not including a minute or two finding time control keys as you need them. After that, you need to BUY your time controls or you WILL run out of time. I've lost 4-1 once 5 seconds from the goal, all because I had to run back for a control piece I forgot. It just becomes a speed run every level a half hour in.
No wonder Blinx bombed.)

4. Metroid (nes, gameboy, snes, gamecube, wii) - I've had to of beaten Super Metroid over 50 times in my life, and I'm always coming back for more! Love the prime sereis aswell, the atmospheric feel of it is astronomical.

7. Civilization (pc) - World Domination. w00t!

9. Mario - (every nintendo console...) - Should probably be at the top of my list somewhere, but I'll just keep going.

It's really hard to arrange these games in order of most favored... but here goes...
#10- Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1) I love this game simply for its music!
#9: Super Mario RPG (SNES) I can't think of a reason... I just love it
#8: NiGHTS (Dreamcast) A game that Shigeru Miyamoto himself said he wished he would have been the one to create
#7: Jet Force Gemini (N64) A really fun shooter by Rare... also with great music!
#6: Silent Hill 1 - 4 (PS1, PS2) I love this game for its deep-rooted storyline, but to me it ends with 4
#5: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Sega Genesis) Because I grew up co-oping this game as Tails with my brother, it had to be here somewhere
#4: Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES) Another really good game that doesn't need much explaining
#3: Suikoden (PS1) An RPG developed by Konami, it is really fun with great character and plot development, with 108 characters to recruit and plenty more to interact with
#2: Baldur's Gate series (PC) By now I guess it's obvious I'm a storyline kind of gamer... the entire Baldur's Gate series both started and ended with a great story and is easily one of BioWare's greatest achievements
#1: Sonic 3 & Knuckles (Sega Genesis) Not just because I grew up co-oping this one as well, but because it had twice the content when plugged in and had some of the best levels, music, and gameplay all at once
