Recently Chatzy has made a function that stops free chatrooms from having more then 10 people at once. This means that we have now moved our chatroom to IRC. To join the new chat room, go here: www.mibbit.com/chat/Once you're on there follow these simple steps to join the new chatroom: 1: On the dropdown menu, select GeekShed [webirc] 2: In the nick box, type in your desired nickname 3: In the channel box, type #mpc 4: Click go 5: Now you're in the chatroom! 6: *optional* If you want to claim your nickname to yourself, just type /msg nickserv register <password> <email> into the chatbox. Taking out the brackets. 7: When you want to log in, type /msg nickserv identify <password> and you should have your nickname back.
Another thing I want to mention is the sudden increase of bots. I don't know why they've been spamming but the only way to counter them right now (to my knowledge) is to make it so that no guests can post anymore in any of the boards. I'm sure that none of you will mind if I stop guests from posting. - Levus |

Yeah, bots are really annoying.
Besides, 10 seconds isn't gonna kill to log on.

I thought I had surely fixed everything at the time because the bots stopped spamming then. I guess I missed a few. |
