I HAVE IT! Take that, Levus!
Allow me to offer a short background story. Yesterday morning we went to EB games, and I saw a big Poster that said, 'RPG of Ages is back again!' Then it hit me, DOH! Chrono Trigger. I asked the man if he had it, said it wasn't yet released in U.K.
I then got an idea. After a long night involving several Red Bulls and calls to Scoot(my friend) I worked something out. He was going to use some connections to get me an imported fresh out of the factory, first run, American copy of Chrono Trigger!
...For 32 bloody pounds! Now, for you Americans I think that's like 50... Although I felt it was an unfair price I willingly handed him over the money. He guaranteed he would have it the next nite.
And he did. Now here I am, opening the box, marveling at the Limited Edition poster that only comes with first batch copies. Scott saves the day once again.
I hope it's as good as all the critics say. It better be for all the bloody money I spent.
I'll keep you guise posted on my progress in the game.

Wow, this game is even more confusing then I remember on the SNES... Same old mysterious black boxes.... And ooh, you can name your character and his friends. You can even rename Frog ROFL.
This is shaping up to be pretty good.

Isn't it nearly a replica of the original, save a couple of bonus dungeons?

Play the original, it's better. ROFL, I own the original. Played through it like 60 times. The DS version is a bit more confusing.

There is an option to play in classic mode, but I'm going to try DS mode for the hell of it. So far it's pretty good. Right now I'm fighting Yakra.
