There's a question mark on the end, there (stupid thread title character limit)
Anyway, fairly straightforward topic, I think: What's your favorite (or a few of your favorite) bands from outside of your own country? Post your favorite song from both.
I was gonna say "Outside of the US", but we have quite a few UK members, some other European, Adolfo from Mexico, etc.
SOOOOO...
I have to say... Muse and Rammstein. Rammstein quite a bit more than Muse, but the former is worthy of mention.
Favorite songs from both... Hmm...
Muse would have to be Knights of Cydonia:
Rammstein is a bit tougher. It's probably between Engel and Mein Herz Brennt... but Engel wins out, as it is.
(Yes, it is Evangelion; no, it is not intentional. I can't find the official music video anywhere, so you get this rather well-made AMV instead.)
If Mein Herz Brennt had a faster tempo (as I've heard in a remix), it would win out. As it is, I love the headbanging factor of Engel.
Well... post your own choices gogogogogogo

Most of my music anyways is foreign... But back on topic, my favorite band would have to be ELLEGARDEN (Japan) even though there are many more artists (they're different than bands right? Right??? ) that I like too. Anyways for ELLEGARDEN, Red Hot would probably have to be my favorite song: It's a weird video, but it's the music that matters (and either I'm crazy, but I swear that they sound like a Japanese version of Blink182)

Polysics, from Japan. They're really fun to listen to. I love the synths and the music sounds like a blast. The vocals may turn you away, but I like 'em. Oh yeah. Muse, too. I don't listen to them often enough to really talk a lot about them, but I can't say anything bad about what I've heard of their music so far.

Muse/The Beatles from Britain, Wolfmother from Australia, and Rammenstein from Germany would probably be my picks.

Oh jeeze, most of my favourite bands are exclusively British. But erm, Foo Fighters. Learn to Fly or Halo. I love Foo Fighters. Weezer is pretty good too, what with Keep Fishin'...

No he means the former. Meaning that Rammstein is his favorite, but Muse (the former in the list of two) deserves honourable mention since it's probably a close second.

CRAP. Forgot about Queen and AC DC Also, glad there's another Alanis fan here :3. Can't forget about Rush, Talking Heads, and Nickelback too from good old Canadia land. EDIT: Also, my friend told me today that Muse sold out within a minute or two. Which I think is pretty hardcore. Of course, everyone loves them because of Twilight now >_>

I forgot about Queen. I'm not really huge on Rush (Though their alright) or AC-DC.
Another one some people might have forgot is Neil Young. He's not really my cup of tea either, but there are probably some of you out there who like his music.
Oh, and I forgot about Oasis too.

GTFO MUSE WAS AROUND LONG BEFORE TWILIGHTFAGS PUT IT IN THEIR AWFUL MOVIES I for one have been a fan since their second album, Origin of Symmetry. Never seen twilight though I do know that they put Supermassive Black Hole in the first one and I belong to you in the second. That makes me sad.

They didn't put I Belong to You in New Moon - they put in a ruined version with random guitars and no french bit.
