What sound should I use for vocals? I'm using the original soundfont. (Song is The House Wins - Ok Go)

Try to use something that sticks out from the rest of the sounds. Like for example, I started a project that used the Hard Rock soundset [lost the files] and I used the Flower [trumpet] to stick out from the drums and guitars. It sounded pretty good, but I will emphasize
So yeah, just try to pick something that'll stick out. The most common I've seen as voices are the Piranha Plant, Car, Gameboy, and Flower. Good Luck and Godspeed.

I tend to use Gameboys, but that's just me. They tend to be the most prominent, and they can easily be extended by putting a bunch of them together.
You can always use cars, though. A lot of people use cars.

I'm currently using dogs. Should that turn out okay or should I change?

I can't really tell without hearing it.. But as long as you can clearly hear the vocals, it should be fine. Vocals are the most important part of a song, after all!

Cars, flowers or gameboys work the best for vocals. It depends on the song though.
Dogs I probably wouldn't suggest

Ok I'm using the venus flytrap. ANOTHER QUESTION:
Can someone tell me the notes of where the singer says "You don't have to be alone to be lonely, you might as well give in."? In the song The House Wins.

You're lucky I like OK Go! The bottom part is going F#, E, D#, and the top part is going C#, G#, F#. You should understand what that means.

Piranha Plants can often be drowned out by strong baselines like Low Gameboys and Hearts, so I would recommend the Car, Flower, Gameboy and Mario.

Listening the song, i would say cars would fit quite well.

I don't believe there are any strong baselines in the song so I don't think it will be a problem. If it is I will change to cars. Anyone know what the bpm of the song is?

It's generally frowned upon, but I don't really care too much...
