I love FF4! Oh my gosh i just listened to some of those remixes and they are awesome. The Might of Baron (Kingdom of Baron) with the guitar and those awesome chords in the middle of the song and the ritardando make the song so cool. I like The Flying Machine (Main theme) with the french horns and the strings. Emerald Beauty (Rydia) with the guitar in the beginning sounds so relaxing but then i dont like the rest of that remix. The Skies Hold No Angels for Us (Damcyan Castle) remix is amazing especially with that break/solo whatever you wanna call it and with the piano change and the kids in the background then it goes back to the guitar. That is just genius. Whoever did Edwards Harp ruined that song in my opinion. That song should be in 12/8 time and it doesnt even sound like the song. I didnt like the Golbez remix. Golbez's song is supposed to sound bad ass and that remix just took away is bad assness. Fabul is meh. I loved Step Into the Light (into the darkness) in the beginning but then the chords changed and it sounded happy and that song should sound dark. It is nice though. Chocobo was probably the worst remix in that album. Survival Instinct (battle 2) started off really bad in my opinion and then it went into this awesome techno like thing. OMFG! GET OUT OF THERE!!! made me laugh. I didnt know what song it was at first and then i remembered when Edward was getting his lute after the Dark Elf owned us. I LOVE THE THEME OF LOVE REMIX! It sounds soooo... not even describable. Treason (Battle with the Four Fiends) was an all right song. I like the heaviness but idk. I just didnt like it too much yet it was good if that even makes sense. Evoking the Dawn (The Prelude) was AMAZING. I like how they mixed Rydia in there and didnt mess up the prelude. It was better than the Piano Collections. I Love This Radio (Theme of Love) messed up my favorite song in the game.
Nobuo Uematsu is the best!

Seriously, OCRemixes are my best friend. I haven't listened to all the albums made so far, but I do thoroughly enjoy Kong in Concert ;-) Every one of those song remixes are just genius.

I haven't heard any of the tracks in those albums, but I know I chose well when I heard the DooM Album, uhh... Delta-Q-Delta, I believe. It was okay overall, but if you dig deep enough, you find a shining and very faithful remix. I enjoy 31 Seconds the most! ;D It's weird, and yet has a perfect amount of the original song.
Oh! And there's The Dark Side of Phobos. That had about 2 or 3 really good songs in it. The best were "The Leaning Tower of Babel" and "The Glass Moon".
Plus, a new Castlevania Album just came out, so I'm giving that a look through...
