When one song file transitions into another song file in the arranged section, depending on where you put the last note of the first song file, there can be a possible delay before it transitions into the next file, even if you were using a low A glitch to cut off the note, there's a 2-3 note extension.
ie:
song file 1: 68 - - - 69 - - g#70 ; where 68 is the measure #, and - represents each space between where you place your note. Now, in this case, when the note prior to measure 70 is played, it transitions into the next file. If you have a - in between the beginning of the file, and the next note, then it plays that note like an eigth note after the note from the previous file.
69 - - g#70 1 a - - 2 ; 1 is the space at the beginning.
Now, in this case, if g# were positioned here:
69 g# - - 70
Then that means that it still plays the other "empty" notes, the other two -, even though the g# is the last note played. This could really be annoying if your transition goes from one note to the next without any rests. It's easier to figure out your rest breaks, but for cases like this, it's important to txt edit the file so that the last note is played right before the numbered measure so that it transitions into the next file without any delay.
To do that, open up the song file in your prefs folder, and add two ":" at the beginning of the file after the 4/4*, and then the notes should be moved two spaces in the song file to accomodate the delay and eliminate it when necessary.
I hope this makes sense.
