I have decided to modify the original SF so that it is able to replace the instruments in midis. I made no modifications to the sounds themselves, but I have re-arranged the boat so that it would play MPC sounds in place of the standard midi drum kit. I also figured it would be a good idea to loops the car sound. This is an example of a regular midi with each sound replaced with MPC sounds using my SF. As you can tell the drum kit is a MAJOR WiP. I don't have each SFX for the drum made yet. I do plan to arrange the boat+toad to be customizable for each different kit. Any feedback would be very useful. If I get enough work for this done, I could see myself making a program to assign each sound to each instrument. What program is that? It looks familiar, but I can't place my finger on it...

I did it first! Not that it matters. Anyway, so what does this SF do? (And it's FL Studio 8, btw)

I will arrange the samples so that they would work perfectly with midi instruments. I.E. The boat itself would not work with the drum kit from the midi so I will arrange sounds from the toad instrument and the boat instrument (and possibly others) so that it sounds like it was made in MPC itself.

After watching this again, it sounds like some of the sounds go too high or low, but that's just the song. However, you may want to make the note range from the low Bb (or Ab) to the high C# to avoid that.

As I've said: Get a MIDI, get Synthfont, and select your instruments. Transpose accordingly. Nothing new, really.

I guess the point is to make it easier by making a drumkit.

This was on purpose, I went through each sound and set it up so that it could go from 0-127 on each sample. With this in mind, ppl will isten to it and they might be going for really accurate. So they would realize that would have to modify the SF a couple octaves so that they get it right. Also for ppl who just want to listen to it just for fun, they can listen to the whole range of octaves.

Alright, I thought I would put this out here. It's been years since anyone has touched on this, but I have another version. Basically some small tweaks to the drumkit and I've fixed the marios. www.mediafire.com/?i3mqtdmmzlzFor anyone who uses it (me), here's a download link. If enough people start using this, I'll build on it more. Taking requests (me) for changes to this. PS. Thinking about making it so when the instruments go over C# or under Bb, they just loop octaves

Hey, Dess, that's not the soundfont; it's the music that you posted on Chatzy awhile ago
