umm ok so i pretty much am pretty lost in the whole soundfont thing. I cannot find any of them, and i would like some cuz im not to happy about the standard on for mpc. If somebody had a link or files they could send me, that would be great. Thanks

All you have to do is search YouTube for the videos. SatoshiLyish has several soundfonts, and so does cat333pokemon.

I'm kinda into soundfonts right now, though I haven't made any releases. I might be making a soundfont geared towards ragtime music sometime soon.

I don't like using soundfonts very much unless I'm making an example for one of Cat333Pokemon's soundfonts.
This is only because I get negative feedback when I use soundfonts.

Ironically, I rarely ever use different SoundFonts, even though I made three (two released) of them! I like keeping the limit of the original (and the new MPC2.0) sounds to at least keep it Mario Paint and not GarageBand!

I love the default soundfont, I´ve used some slightly modified soundfonts (made by me) in the past (it´s my party, rainbow road), who knows how my subscribers would react if I use a totally different soundfont. (I can imagine though)

Here's a quote from my Wily Machine rendition:
"I don't like it when you change the sounds that symbols make. I mean, I thought that was the biggest challenge with making songs on Mario Paint was that you could only use the available sounds. Maybe it's just me, but when you make it like this, your just re- making the song; the fact that it on Mario Paint doesn't matter."
Blah. This is why I don't like using soundfonts.
