The cowbell mod was created by ihasmario. It is a soundfront (the kind you use for MPC) with all (I think) of the original, unchanged sounds of the default soundset with one small exception. In the upper reaches of the pig instrument, there was a cowbell sound. There were different variations of the cowbell such as open, closed, and walking on different points of the staff.

Usefulness: It's good if you like using the cowbell, songs like (Don't Fear) The Reaper or Mississippi Queen use it, but still like the original soundset. However, it was created before MPC 2.0 so you won't be able to have the electric guitar of the piranha.
