Alright. I made my decision. The trombone, bassoon, and brass section are in. If you really want the oboe, tell me what to do about the rest of the instruments to free up one more.

Have a genius idea of how to get trombone in! Make tuba the lower notes of the 'brass' instrument.
Then make that instrument oboe.

BINGO! I've got it! Tuba will be moved to the lower half of the star, with the glock on the upper half.

If RehdBlob ever finishes his "Mario Paint Composer Professional", use the full list of instruments as the soundfont for his MPC Pro. Wait, so you mean that image he posted in Ford Prefect's thread was an image of something he was working on? Of course! I've been working on it, but not much has been done past the image edit. |

Yeah what Shiny Espeon said. The Yoshi should probably be Pan Flute.
And perhaps you can put the cymbal on the A and put the Snares around E/F.
Other then that, this soundset is awesome!

Ah this is great! There will finally be my favorite instrument, the french horn! Along with bassoon! A BASSOON!! Oh this will be a great Thankgiving! I have one question though, will the samples from the 'real' soundset (the piano, flute, trumpet, bass, and strings) be reused in this version or will they sound different? I didn't like the piano that much; seemed a bit week. Yeah what Shiny Espeon said. The Yoshi should probably be Pan Flute. Seems that a flute is a more common instrument |

I chose the regular flute. I only re-used two samples from the first MPR, which were the orchestra hit and the harp. Everything else was replaced with a new instrument, including a MUCH better sounding piano and better strings. The bass is actually an acoustic bass (playing a double bass as pizzicato). The demonstration video is being uploaded. Once it is finished, I will lock this topic and start a new one.

Make sure that the bass and drums are loud. I'm working on 'Possess your heart' by Death Cab for Cutie, and there is an epic bass riff at the beginning that lasts like 3 minutes so... It would mean a lot if you had loud bass. |
