Wow, it sounds really nice. The hearts are a little too quiet in my opinion, but I love what you did with the swans, faces, and Yoshis!
Perhaps you should put this under the Mario Paint Releases section? It is a new soundfont after all.

Made an announcement; I think it's sufficiently important.

I beg forgiveness, but I encourage you to increase the volume for mushrooms as kick drums. I can barely hear it when I use it.
EDIT: For that matter, the volume of snare drums, too.
EDIT 2 LULZ: Actually... the way it is now is sufficient. I put the kick drum on the high D and the snare on the mid A (see my Breaking the Habit test for example). This is advice for anyone else, btw.

Well, I was thinking about using three more versions. The first is a revision to the last, fixing volume errors and some reverb. The second will have real animal voices in it. The third...is undisclosed for now.

I just have one question, why didn't you make an open hi hat? Great idea for version 1.2!

OK! Version 1.2 is going to be started soon. It will account for the four new instruments as well as an open hi-hat. Please help me decide which four instruments to use.
I've been tipped off on using something out of these: Saxophone, slap bass, sawtooth wave (definitely going in), triangle wave, more percussion, strings section, brass section, sitar, overdrive guitar, harpsichord, electric piano, synth bass, sound effects, real cat/dog/pig, "Yoshi" voice, xylophone...
Share your thoughts.

Suggestion: Piano (Just plain piano, not electric) It's my favorite instrument.

Cool, I quite like it but I still like the idea of a slap bass(it would fit in a lot of old sega genesis songs)
It wouldnt need much changing from the heart in the original soundset that MPC 2 comes with.
