I just found an awesome glitch in the Orchestra soundfont.
You know the Dog that's a trombone? Go check out the top the 2 notes, the B and the C. I just realized, while composing my K-Rool battle theme, that it had too high of a note range for me to finish it properly. I also realized, that the two highest the dog notes are a direct continuation of the highest note on the Flower(trumpet), which means, that it's a D and an E, same with the sharps and flats on those notes/. Just remember to mute it during fast trumpet parts with another dog so it doesn't mess it up.
I don't know if anyone already found it, because I haven't seen anyone use it, but it's helping me. Alot.
So now I could finish my K-Rool Battle (DK64) composition!...
But seriously, hope it helps.

I've been seeing that alot recently in a lot of soundfonts. Another similar one is in the original soundfont; The star is a continuation of the mario.

The highest dog note you can do before it jumps is the low a (I think that's what it's called) The higher notes were in case instead of going down, you neede to go up.

-With the Electronica soundfont, the Cat is a Pig raised an octave. Planes sound similar to Hearts raised an octave.
-With the Real 2.0 soundfont, the Star is similar to a Cat raised an octave.
-With the original soundfont, the Star is very similar to a Mario Head raised an octave.

and that the B and C are unnecesary for the dog and others lowered two octaves anyway. So he thought he's get rid of the overlap and be useful.

Very useful. I found myself needing those extensions on pretty much every song I ever made with that soundfont.

I've noticed these things in many soundfonts. I THINK I've used it in -- no, just thought of it, I used it in the unreleased Secret of Mana -- Danger piece.
