MS
As usual, they still have the superiority in this generation for the true gaming market. Nintendo has plenty of units sold, but it really is true when critics say that the company that started the modern console has had a falling out with the gamers. Sony continues to be a Renaissance masterpiece -- has the best looks, but is more than you can afford.
As such, with a further price drop possible on top of what is really the best deal for this console generation (frankly, for the more casual offline experience that it's really worth, Wii should be 200 MAXIMUM, so don't cite it being the cheapest), the 360 looks like the winner here. About the only thing they DON'T have is a handheld, and tbh, I'd rather keep it that way.
However, if Kojima delivers on his promises, there better be some MGS coming to the Wii <_____<

But the controls for the 360 are really quite uncomfortable, IMO.

Sony's got MGS5 which will probably steal the show
The new Mario for Wii (SMG2?) will be nice to see though

The MS spotlight just ended on G4, and here's the big stuff/what I can remember (I was going to take notes for y'all, but then I found that I didn't really care, hence why point 5 is so vague in my recollection): 1.) Rock Band Beatles: <______< Personally, do not want. 2.) Modern Warfare 2: Shinier, moar snow 3.) Halo ODST: Looks nice, but I can already see some "I wish this were Master Chief" stuff going on (actions far too extreme for even a well-trained human, as the ODSTs in-universe are.) Interesting side note: the title Halo: Reach was OFFICIALLY announced at the end of this, with a trailer featuring Reach burning (planetary shot) with desperate radio traffic, concluded by "This is Sierra-### (I forget it at the moment). You still have Spartans on the ground" or similar. Having read the Fall of Reach novel, this may be a high-action hit featuring Spartans again. Hell, TEAMS of Spartans 4.) Metal Gear: Rising -- so, that countdown clock led to this. It was introduced with Kojima 'sneaking' onto the stage and tapping the MS speaker on the shoulder, with a horribly-acted reaction on the latter's part and the trademark ! chime (I saw it coming from days ago. I KNEW they would do it that way. I was just wondering if it would be for the MS conference or Nintendo). Anyways, my reaction is hit and miss. Firstly, given that I'm probably not getting a 360 of my own for a while (months and months), I hope that Kojima is considering having a version of this game for the Wii. That being said, my second concern is thus: instead of the usual " Tactical Espionage Action" tag hovering over the name (like Metal Gear: Solid has always had), it had " Lightning Bolt Action". Something tells me that we are going to see a lot of madcap action starring Raiden (if you missed the trailer, it reveals Raiden bit by bit until you have his cybernetically armored face next to the logo). Good and bad: good because, especially if the Wii version comes through, and of course for the 360, you'll get to be a one-man killing machine (if you haven't seen Ninja Raiden in action, search YT for 'Raiden vs gekkos'). Lots of fun. The bad thing? A deviation from the MGS formula; with the rumors that Kojima had revealed "More 'Westernized', less cutscenes, more action" gameplay, I would tend to agree with the whiny fanboys on the forums and Digg articles that I've seen -- goodbye, story-ridden gameplay. Personally, I could do without the hour-long cutscenes... 5.) Missed the name, but... Xbox Natal? Xbox Fluid? Something like that: With a true camera and what I would imagine are body-wide sensors (so I assume, given the show's graphical representations of a player surrounded by a wireframe), this 'worries' me, if you will, about the Wii. Frankly, I don't really like the Wii to begin with, but if the live gameplay of this new motion-sensing set of tools is real (I'm not buying into the cinematic trailers complete with their own personal 'family' of actors), then the 360 is tearing into Nintendo's only true stake in the current generation and ripping it from them violently. Good job -- about time a REAL gaming system got into decent mo-cap. 6.) Tony Hawk's Ride: Skateboard peripheral a la the Wii Balance Board. *facepalm*. 7.) Other things like Allan Wake, Left 4 Dead 2, gameplay from FFXIII, Splinter Cell: Conviction, and a bunch of other games I don't really care about/didn't have anything worth mentioning. Overall, Xbox 360 looks like THE system to have. My current favorites are Modern Warfare 2 and Halo ODST obviously, and as for that Fluid or Natal or whatever... well, I'm definitely interested...

If it's a game, then . MUST BAI.

Looking back, I was kind of stupid. Than again, I didn't get to see what Microsoft did, as I was playing golf. I'll catch EA though.

I wouldn't mind terribly. Obviously, playing AS him would be another mindless hack n' slash, but... Yes, that's exactly what we need... A hack-and-slash... Not enough of those >.> While I'm not really happy about the game revolving around Raiden I'm ecstatic that it's going to have a 360 port! Finally I can play a Metal Gear game other than the first! I have faith Kojima. He's a creative guy. Maybe he'll make Raiden a clone of Solid Snake: it would be better then ninja combat >.>

I have to agree with Tiger about XBOX 360 being at the top of the game: a lot of the stuff that's being shown looks really nice. But I haven't really looked into what I want and don't want yet.

If they don't add Hey Jude or Yellow Submarine, I'll cry.
