Anyone here like to raid yard sales and thrift-like stores to stash video games? I personally do, and it is the main feed for my nostalgia collection, mostly of Game Boy and Sega Genesis. I'm on a three week streak I'm sorta celebrating, too. Week 1- Donkey Kong Land and some pinball GB game- $1 each Week 2- JP or EU (IDK which) Gold Gameboy Pocket- $4 Week 3- Brand New w/ 29.99 sticker Smash Bros Melee- $5
Anyone else raid dirt sales to try to find some cheap oldies? What are some of your best snatches?

I recently bought LoZ: Ocarina of Time in a flea market.
It had a save file that's already at Ganon's Castle.

Car Boot sales are immense for buying cheep games. You find people that sell rare games for cheep.
It's like "Hello? You DO realize that you're selling me Majora's Mask for £5 when it's worth £30?!"
Ah I love Cat Boot sales.

Meh, I don't remember the exact cost, but I got Wild Arms and Pokemon Puzzle League at a flea market.

I always want to go to garage sales but I keep having difficulty finding the time. As for thrift stores, I mostly buy old/used books, movies, music, and electronics; occasionally, I find Pokémon stuff that I don't have.

I once was holding a garage sale. I was selling Animal Crossing Population Growing for $10. I was told that some kid's dad found this game, poped it open, and stole the disc! GAH, I WAS SO MAD!!!
no, not really. He opened the game, took the disc, and looked to see if there were any scratches on it. He then asked me (the owner of the game) if I had the instructions manual. Luckily, I did! So I got it for him.
It looked like someone found EXACTLY what they were looking for. Now how often do you do that? EXACTLY what you are looking for???
