Also, note that this was a high-circulation advert that DID promote the music-making aspect of the game/program. So MPC wasn't as much an add-on as a marketed part of the program, as some suspected.
New personal text, just for that.

*raises hand* I'd like to make the argument that this kid did not create the song and was only hired to say his lines. Also, there is no record of him ever creating a song nor using Mario Paint ever again and therefore cannot be considered a composer. [/end dumb and pointless objection]
The little ditty was nice I must admit.
$59.95!? Surprised people bought it...

$59.95!? Surprised people bought it... Yeah Wasn't that the price of most new games back then? Considering inflation, the price of games has gone down over the years.

I saw that in my subscriptions. Be sure to read through the Blender's description; it really brings you to the 90's if you didn't own the game back then.

lol what's funny about that video is that the MUSIC was the only thing that was created legitimately in Mario Paint. The whole animation process could never do that lol unless you edited it together with your Super Nintendo hooked up to your VHS recorder (aww, the memories!). There is ANOTHER video that uses the Mario Paint music sequencer (which you don't see), but uses chromatics!! Ahhh! If your ear is in shape, you can probably hear it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZGUNZOTpL8Also, YES, this game was $60, but dammit, it got the most use out of any other game I owned, besides The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

Probably just used the SNES sound engine instead of using Mario Paint though.
