^ Anyway, I'm surprised at how good oyan was at Mario Paint, considering he had no other people to learn from (Seriously, I learned dickspeed by watching countless numbers of theEvilGrimace videos).

The most common conception is that TomBobBlender was the first person to have use Mario Paint on YouTube. Or should I say misconception. Let's look: Tom's first Mario Paint video, Mario Paint - Music Merengue, was submitted March 5, 2007. His first original remix, being of the Tetris theme, was also submitted that day. Now I would like to direct your attention to the following user: oyan55. This user's first video (or at least the oldest one still on his/her channel) follows: Date submitted: October 05... 2006!?! WOW! I was shocked when I saw this date. I was even more shocked at how good some of this user's songs are (especially for being the only Mario Painter on the site at the time), such as: In my opinion many of these videos are better than TomBobBlender's earliest videos. Any thoughts? Or CONSPIRACY THEORIES!?! THIS. OLDEST. February 2006.

Yeah, sorry to burst your bubble misteriguana, but beat you to it. Funny thing is, YouTube actually helped me. Not only does it have a way to sort videos by upload date, but it has an oldest uploaded date also. Coinciedentely, I have found both the first Mario Paint song and MPC song posted to YouTube. This one was posted on February 25, 2006!? This certainly isn't the place to put it (sorry, can't find the thread), but here is the first MPC composition currently on YouTube, beating Cat's by one day. www.youtube.com/watch?v=o47Ms7clcosNeither of these user's have ever posted another song again of course. And I think the MP is just the demo song. @rc wtf?

It's the first non-demo song on YouTube, and thus, they are the true first Mario Painters.

I remember seeing those videos during the younger (and better) YouTube days, and that's what got me saying "oh wow, how could I have forgotten about Mario Paint? Where is my copy?" I fired it up, pulled out my Mario Paint players guide and tried inputting a few examples from the book with a smile on my face, remembering how it sounded 10 years earlier. I remember I had to erase it and have it gone forever in order to move on to the next song. So, I instead decided to upload it to YouTube to save it forever, and to call back on if I ever wanted to hear it again. I had originally planned to transcribe the whole book to YouTube, but... boooring. I instead came up with the notion of "creating video game music... in a video game!" No one else was doing it, so I went for it. Only a few months later, it was brought to my attention that there was an article about me in Nintendo Power... WOW!!! Nintendo actually looked at my videos!! I've been a subscriber since issue No.1 and I have every single issue. That's when things started to go viral. And many of my videos being stolen *gasp!*
