A very promising DS title is coming out in Japan soon. It's a bit similar to Mario Paint. Made in Ore is a DS title that allows you to edit the sprites and music(!) of WarioWare microgames and make them your own. Essentially, it lets you make your own WarioWare game. Here is an informational site with some screenshots (The site is in Japanese): www.nintendo.co.jp/ds/uorj/about/index.htmlI'm very psyched about this game, especially the music editor. I can't wait for it to come out in Japan so I can see some user-created videos. ^_^ EDIT: Oops, I thought for sure I put this in Video Game Discussion. If a mod happens to bump into this topic, could they move it, please? Thank you.

That's certainly unique. I've always loved the Wario Ware games (and the Wario Land games too, but there aren't any of those being released anymore *grumble*...)[/size]. Looking forward to the U.S. release!

I've only bought ONE Wario Ware title. Wario Ware Smooth Moves. I quite like it but it's so easy to complete. I think that a game where you can make your own mini games with your own music and sprites would be a great idea!

I can't wait for it to hit the States. ^_^

...Anyone else own it? I highly recommend it, it feels more like a Mario Paint sequel than a WarioWare title
The music maker is really awesome, too

Love the game. Love the music creator too, really easy to use and fun. Just as good as MPC.

I recently got this game and it is AWESOME! I just love the quirky atmosphere (like the ninja on a rope for a scrollbar in the script section) and the funny stuff that the Warioware series has been known for and at the same time, it is a reliable tool for making short microgames, comics, and music tracks. The best thing about the music creator is the fact that it's so easy to do things by midi because you can be clicking on the note in a midi program on your computer while you're pinpointing where it is on the DS (the hum mode doesn't really work as well as I thought it would but it does make some interesting results). I just love the variety of sounds that you can use (including the baby face!). The only real flaw besides limited amount of tracks is that you can't cut a section of a song short so it kinda messes with the loopability of a song with a different time signature.
The actual game stuff is somewhat easy to figure out due to being used to similar systems that use a similar method (RPG maker 2003 and Game Maker 7) but I definitely think that the amount of options could have been better. Like, why can't I point somewhere and have an object go towards that spot? But then again, I'm more of an artist than a game programmer so I had more fun with the other parts.
The graphics editor is DELICIOUS! I just love how they implemented the patterns! Also, it's a big plus that you can make new ones. The stamps are sweet. The only thing that I would really like is the ability to use the d-pad to pinpoint exactly where you want to place a dot/circle/nonexistant rhombus/blob without zooming in to 8x or16x. Like, they did it in Animal Crossing: Wild World (the pattern editor) and it was awesome so why not here? Despite the lack of color in comics mode, it is still awesome due to the patterns. My first comic in this was kinda rough looking because I didn't spend numerous hours on the first frame (coughcough my second comic. Looks cool though). I also really like using custom stamps in this mode.
The microgames that came with the game are somewhat difficult at first (you got to remember: I'm only given a second or two to figure out what I'm supposed to do and how to do it) but are still fun to play. I'd have to say that I like Orbulon's microgames the best so far.
Overall, this game is like, one of the best DS games that I own. But there is a slight annoyance that I don't really like that much and that is the required tutorials. I admit it, they're funny, but sometimes these things that they're teaching me I already know. If you like to make stuff, have a short attention span, or just plain loves a good Warioware title, this is for you. But if you don't see it on the shelves at the game store, be smart and ask the guy behind the counter (I had to do this to get my copy. I wonder why they display crummy DS games like Hanna Montana when this game is kept near secret in a drawer behind the counter where NOBODY can acknowledge its existance if they don't know about it.)
tl;dr version: BUY IT NAO, IT IS AAAAAWESOME!
