I am browsing Mario Paint Hangout (and posting this message) from a DOS browser known as Lynx. It looks like it actually works pretty well!

I'm actually surprised that it supports PHP. I would have thought that something a primitive as that would only support standard HTML.

It's server-side PHP, so it still only sends as standard HTML.

That's cool. Is there anything special that a DOS browser would be able to do as opposed to any other? Or is it just a different style?

Just text. That's it. It can download files, but it has a difficult time resolving IPs.
