www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS3sqGcmGFgThe description is very important as well, as it contains the download link for the encoder. This guy's video has helped me make my TAS videos HD'ified, and should work with MPC videos too (I haven't been able to test it yet since I'm still waiting for a recorder... ) Something to note; it will add black pillars to make it become 16:9 ratio if the source video is not already. Your welcome. ;D

Do you have Windows Movie Maker? It only works on the vista version of Windows Movie Maker.

Oh yeah, I forgot about those HD settings in WMM. And I believe you can simply import Windows Media Encoder profiles if you don't have them.

Wow, a plus side to having vista instead of XP? WELL I NEVER! And here is a little video that I published using WMM on VISTA on my alt Youtube account. Just to show off.

Since you guys are mah recorders, that means I CAN HAZ AIYCH-DEE!!! We would probably have to do the video editting for you too. And the video files can be up to 200MB big.

Since you guys are mah recorders, that means I CAN HAZ AIYCH-DEE!!! We would probably have to do the video editting for you too. And the video files can be up to 200MB big. Which is one of the reasons I let you guys know about that video. Personally, I like downloading a 15 MB video to convert into a ~20 MB file rather than a 200 MB video to put up, and some people can't be on the computer long enough to let the 200 MB video upload and/or have too slow of a connection to have it upload. Also, I don't really use Windows Movie Maker a lot, but all I hear about is how it eats up videos, so . I'm not saying you have to use the mencoder, I'm just giving an option. And I assure you, it works really well if you choose it. ;D

200 MB?! That number seems a little large.

200 MB?! That number seems a little large. Not sure for MPC. But I do know (un)compression rate can sometimes inflate it to about that big. Edit: Yay, first cookie! Thanks, whoever it was.
