Do any free ones exist? I'm getting very tired or using MIDIs, quite frankly. They're limited in number and quite innacurate. Plus, I don't have the skill to do things by ear, at least not yet.

That's odd. I guess you'll have to find another way.

you can switch the view to show "all files *.*"

Still didn't work. I think it's because I changed the file format from .mp3 to .wav... oh well. I guess I'll stick with MIDIs, since I think most video game musics are in mp3 format.

Well, there's an audio editing software called Melodyne, it's not free, but it can also notate mp3s for you. I have it now. Thanks for telling!

Just one more question. It loaded as one "blob" ie. only one track is shown. How would I be able to make it show multiple tracks?

I don't think that would be possible, because the program wouldn't be able to distinguish the different tracks in the MP3...
Unless the program is uber-awesome-speshul-somethingorather... ;D

It was only a JOKE, OH, HELP, NO, IT WAS A JOKE, A JOKE, I SWEAR!!! *pulls out gun* In all seriousness though, I'm not THAT musically inclined. I don't want to go back and learn, especially since I've gone on to do some rather melodic and complex music.
