I'm tempted to use the boat in a rolling fashion, but it just doesn't seem to sound right to me. What do you think is the best sound to use for a cymbal crash?

When i did Tension Rising is used the high D, E, and F together. On Team Rocket Hideout, I used High C, High G, and Middle C. It all depends on the sound of the crash.

^ That's what I would do, but to make it longer I'd roll it but have the volume decrease during the roll.

I'm assuming that you mean for the original soundfont, right? Do you know of a soundfont that does? I think I may have to switch off the original for this one if that is the case. >Edit< Nevermind, I found exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for the help =)

I tend to use all three boat sounds together and echo them one or two beats later.

Give it a big follow-up with the toms, and then(using Cat's real 2.0) give a crash on the high E, C, and D.
