We've sorta touched on the topic a little bit in other threads related to Let's Plays, but I don't think this question had really been posed before and I'm curious. Note, I don't have any plans to make a Let's Play (though if you do, this thread could potentially help you); just looking to find out some people's opinions.
Myself, I've watched HCBailly for a little while now, and I used to like seeing TV/movie clips, though it's understandable that that sorta died down now. I also like that HC really knows what he's talking about with the games he does. What I don't like is that sometimes his episodes don't get very eventful because he tends to talk to everyone, but I'll also concede that if he wouldn't, then I'd probably be annoyed at that, too.
Then there's KarmaJolt -- his Let's Plays really stand out in my mind because they're so funny; I think that plays a big part in it as well. However, I also think there's a point where it'd be wearisome to hear a person nitpick the game s/he's playing throughout the whole Let's Play. Anyway, what are your thoughts in regards to qualities that make/break LP's.

I think the perfect LPer would combine HCBailly's informativeness, Chugga's editing, Raocow's randomness, and DCrab's wit and call it a day :3
Really though, that's all a good LPer needs to suceed on Youtube. Hell, he can get famous with just one of those too.
