Wow, I really didn't expect the multitude of replies.
@rcplanes: During my unnecessarily long move, I was only able to check MPR about once every couple days, and that wasn't even to get recordings done (my computer was 30 miles away, and remote control at the time was practically impossible.) Now that I've moved my computer, I check it at least once daily, either before I wake up or go to sleep, and run all jobs that are queued. Sometimes I check 8 times in a day, but usually at least once per day. The system is almost ready to become completely automated whenever I'm not using the computer, aka, you submit a project when I'm not using my computer, it'll automatically run the job locally and get it done within an hour (this was the original goal). Once I get my computers figured out here, my computer will be almost unused and therefore open for MPR projects.
kacelano: Thank you for reminding people that this is just a feedback thread, I just seem to always stir up drama in whatever thread I post, maybe I should post less?
@all: I've read your opinions, and while, yes, I have a relatively disposable income, I don't think this competition will become anything other than an idea at this point. I'm getting overwhelmingly negative feedback on this, and I'll take heed. I just wanted to offer money to the candidate that showed the most ingenuity in production of 3 songs in 2 weeks to make the effort well worth it. It's not that everyone can do it, but it might be the drive somebody needs to learn how to handle dickspeed, or other such techniques. This idea has been shown to be a double-edged sword, as people have pointed out, somebody's greed just may rear it's ugly head and ruin the competition. So anyways, I would hope that somebody would take this idea for an electronic/industrial track competition and run with it, even if there was no money involved. I'd like to see the turnout.
