The problem is that I accidentally added incomplete soundfonts, ones from over a year ago that don't have enough sounds, and it's giving me errors based on that, I think.
Oh, and what's the fastest speed you can go and actually have Mario bounce on the notes instead of walking past them?

500 is the maximum speed you can have Mario bounce on the notes IIRC
there's a folder hidden somewhere on the computer where AMS keeps soundfonts, but I can't remember where

You need to remove the Soundfont files from this folder manually:
On Vista / 7:
C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\Advanced Mario Sequencer\Soundfonts
On XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\[YourName]\Application Data\Advanced Mario Sequencer\Soundfonts
Drive letter may vary, depends on your installation settings. Oh, and the AppData / Application Data folder is hidden.

Thanks.
Have another question.
I recently made a soundfont to lower the volume of the stars, and it works... but it won't let me save whenever I'm using the soundfont. (as it throws an error and deletes my work.) Any thoughts?

Does the soundfont have spaces in its name? What's the error message?

An exception of class OutOfBoundsException was not handled. The application must shut down.
File is named SoftStars.sf2

I can't definitely say what causes this error. You could try using the custom soundfont and simply load the instruments of your soundfont to the channels, but if the AMS fails and saving with the soundfont enabled, you have little chance that this works without crashing.
(note to self: rework soundfont management)
