Okay, so I was wrong. I guess I CAN'T do 'I Will Possess Your Heart', and epic epic 8 and a half minute song(take that, Levus!), by ear. But I can't find a MIDI...
...Anywhere. I've searched all corners of the internet, even the virus and Trojan infected sites. But nothing.
Well this SUCKS! What do I do now? I have guitar tabs, but I don't know how to incorporate them to Mario paint. Someone help please, I don't want to give up altogether.

Anyone willing to... translate this to piano sheet music for me? I was going to write this out by hand but I'd need a scanner and I am out of staff paper. But really, this should be pretty easy for you to do. A fret is a half-step so all you do is take the string and fret notation in half steps to get the note. Examples: E3 would be E string plus 3 half steps or E + 1 half step (E#/F) +1 half step (F#) + 1 half step (G) So E3 in tab would be G A1 is Bflat A2 is B A3 is C A4 is C# A5 is D Just keep it all relative as it is in the tab and you can put it in whatever octave you need. Hope this makes sense. If you are really struggling with it however, let me know and Ill see what I can do. Cypher

This is how I learned to read guitar tabs:
At 1:16, a guitar tab with all of the numbers being '0' appears, along with a line of the same tab in treble clef. From there, you can count up one half-step for what your actual tab is. I also think the guy explains it, but I just watch it for that picture.
I hope this visual aid helps you somehow.

I'm doing exactly what you told me to, but it isn't working, it always sounds off.

It's mainly just high E's and F's from what I'm reading.
Can you just please translate the bass part?

It's mainly just high E's and F's from what I'm reading. Can you just please translate the bass part? Things to note: 1) This is written in bass clef which is accurate for the desired sound (I've verified this against the song). 2) The guitar tab is wrong because the bass part can not be played in the correct octave with standard guitar tuning, so it is written an octave higher than it should be. However, I think all of the heart bass sounds for most of the soundfonts out there play an octave lower than written. So if you use the heart for bass sound, and start on C below treble clef (middle C) in MPC it will be dead on octave wise for the bass part. 3) I just added the notes for this, nothing indicating how to play them. 4) I saw these guys in Seattle in March . Hope this helps. Cypher

Dude, I owe you, badly. Anything you want just ask. I'll do anything... To the best of my ability. Since you are offering... I need a little bit more time on the Mega Man Soundfont. I am working on a MPC piece right now, and I would like to finish it, then get the soundfont done after that. The piece is difficult, but I think Ill be done with it in a few weeks. Cypher

Hey, I'm not going to rush you at all. You have all the time you want. besides I won't really need it until I finish 'I Will Possess Your Heart'.
