Hi folks,
I'm currently thinking about dropping the loop button in the AMS / OCS. The point is: As there will be an arranger feature in the next release, you simply can arrange the same song multiple times, and you have your loop. The main reason why I want to drop it is because it needs space, and there will be quite some new buttons in the toolbar, so it would be good to drop anything that's not required there.
Anyone who really needs looping, please report in. If this is vital to some people, I might keep the feature as menu item or something...

I think the loop button is there for nostalgic reasons; it doesn't really have to be there for functional purposes, so no, I don't think it's necessary. At least, that's my opinion.

As long as there's an arranger feature, there probably won't be a need for a loop button. I'm kinda in the middle but I'm kinda leaning towards drop the button. (Though it is nice to be able to loop little things...)

late reply, but... I would keep it if there happens to be room for it, as it's an easy way to prototype a looping section, but the world definitely wouldn't end without it. If it has to go, it has to go, and the arranger should be a more than ample replacement.
