Apparently I've been running into a problem where MPC itself drags a bit when I play something at extreme tempos (like 3000+). I've tried running it in Realtime, closing everything else, etc. I'm not really sure why it started happening, but it's there and it's hampering my recording ability.
Thanks in advance!

It happens with me if there's to much going on.

I have the same problem. It's hard to make Targitzan if I can't listen to it at the correct tempo.

Hmm... Try setting everything else (the unimportant processes) to low priority. As for recording, set MPC to High Priority and the Recorder.exe to Below Normal (or above normal... some peoples' computers just work that way)

Well today I discovered that AMS doesn't lag, which is rather ironic seeing as Ford said it had trouble handling extreme speeds (I ran 5001 tempo and it worked perfectly, xD).
While it still doesn't solve my problem, it helps in the fact that it must be something in MPC itself rather than my own computer (which was something I suspected all along).

I'm pretty sure it's the accumulated Tempo Gaps, making it MPC's fault, not your computer's. Because whenever I import a high-tempo txt file to AMS, it's a LOT faster.
